KX:1

KX:1 1:1

Private performance and change work calibrated to the person.

For work that benefits from privacy, precision and an intervention selected only after the pattern has been understood.

Who it is for

Individuals dealing with recurring patterns, stuck responses or inconsistent performance.

01

Recognisable challenges

Confidence changing by context; hesitation, overthinking or performance anxiety; recurring behavioural patterns; difficulty accessing fluent skill; learned responses that keep repeating; internal conflict; identity-related constraints; knowing what to do without being able to change the pattern.

02

What we examine

What is happening, when it happens, where it changes, what capability is present, and what seems to constrain access, choice or action.

03

How work begins

Diagnosis before intervention: a structured enquiry clarifies the event, context, desired outcome, available evidence and appropriate boundary of practice.

04

Possible methods

Depending on the person and issue, work may involve performance coaching, behavioural rehearsal, NLP-informed techniques, hypnotherapy, timeline-based approaches, attention work, state regulation or capability development. No method is assumed to suit every person or problem.

05

Intended outcome

Better understanding of the pattern and a more appropriate, proportionate route to change that can be observed beyond the session.

06

Boundaries

This is not medical, psychiatric or clinical treatment. Where needs fall outside scope, KX:1 will not position coaching as a substitute.

Diagnosis before technique

We do not begin with a favourite intervention.

Diagnosis comes before intervention. We examine what is happening, when it happens, where it changes, what capability is present and what seems to constrain access or action.

Method follows diagnosis. No intervention is assumed to suit every person or problem.

How the work develops

From event to evidence.

01

Define

Identify one real performance event or pattern and define what the situation required.

02

Evidence

Establish what is known about the capability available and separate observation from interpretation.

03

Compare

Examine where performance changes across relationships, environments, demands or moments.

04

Diagnose

Form the best-supported working explanation while retaining credible alternatives.

05

Intervene

Select a proportionate response. This may involve development, release, redesign or clearer performance management.

06

Review

Observe what changes beyond the session and decide whether the evidence supports or weakens the original diagnosis.

The method follows the diagnosis. The diagnosis remains open to evidence.
